Hi Guys,

I have a dataset heaed by date and a bunch on data under

I want to be able to count the occurances of a particular cell based upon the data under a selected date. I want to be able to change the date and the subsequent range change based upon this - so the count is only counting under the selected date.

Cheers,
Josh

using what? vba? userform? excel?

Thank you for replying. I have managed to get my count with a Offset and match formula. Now I want to be able to get the cell values that those counts have brought back in seperate cells. Make sense??

So the count forumla was;

=COUNTIF(OFFSET(COMBINED!$A$1,,MATCH(LOCATION_PLAN!B6,COMBINED!1:1,0)-1,50,1),LOCATION_PLAN!D7)

in this instance if finds two matches;

I want to return them both

Cheers in advance,
Josh
