Counting times drop box selected

Hi guys

I was wondering if you can help with an enquiry

I have a sheet that has a drop down box

The box has selections like
Coke
Pepsi
Fanta

Etc

I was looking for a formula that will count the number of times a drop down is used, not fussed on what is chosen

So for example

If Fanta is chosen, or Coke, or Pepsi
- it would just count a 1, regardless of what was chose
In next row if another was chosen it would count as a 2

Is this easy enough to do?
