Hi,

Please help me with counting the minutes worked on multiple days.

For example, on 1-Oct I worked 2 tasks, each one of them have different counting system, that's colon C for(it's a drop list witch is telling me what i did).
What i want is excel to calculate how many minutes I've worked today, tomorrow and so on. I can't find a way to calculate it separately.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
You can use a pivot table on the data to sum by day or use SUMIF.

Code:
SUMIF(range, criteria, sum range

Code:
=SUMIF(A:A, the date you seek, J:J)

Feel free to adjust the ranges accordingly. Or if this won't do, let me know.

With pivot tables I can't work, I don't know how yet and I haven't heard about sumif untill now. I'll try both options and I'll see what I can do.
Thank you!
