Hi there

I have a one table database which is recording the answers from a questionaire on a form. Everything seems to be fine bar one problem, which comes down to easily analysing the information.

The questionaire is used to find out if the users have a positive workstation experience in terms of ergonomics etc. So, I need a way to see overall positive and negative values from the whole sheet.

The form is divided into 3 columns, Environment, Furniture and Display Screen. I was thinking, is it possible to put a text box at the bottom of each column, which updates itself based on the answers given in the column? So, if there are 6 negative answers in coloumn 1, number 6 is automatically displayed in the textbox.

Is this possible? I reckon it is, but I dont know enough about Access to make it do this.

Thanks for reading. Any help is appreciated.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Use the table as the basis for a report. If you launch the Report Wizard, you'll be taken through a series of screens that let you choose which fields to include, how to sort and group them, and which summary totals you want.
Forms and tables are mainly used for viewing and data entry, but reports are the best way to pull data back out for printing.
