I have a timetable spreadsheet detailing classroom numbers which are alphanumeric eg Y03, G12 etc.

I would like a simple way of compiling (i) a list of all the room numbers and (ii) the frequency that each room is timetabled.

I can't COUNTIF as I don't know all the individual rooms and might miss one.
I don't think FREQUENCY will do it as they have the letters.
Pivot tables seem like an option but I'm not sure how I can set the data up to tabulate as it's set up as a timetable with 5 periods per day, 5 days per week, and multiple teachers.

Any ideas?
