I have a big event that is coming up in August. I want to do a timer in Excel that will count down to that time, saying how many days, hours, minutes and, if possible, seconds. I know this has been covered at length in several different ways with different end goals, but I can’t piece it all together to make it work. I understand that I will have to get into VBA to accomplish this but am very new to macros and have minimal experience. From what I understand I will have to paste code into multiple sections of VBA but am lost as to what and where. If anyone can guide me on this I would be most grateful.

Wich one is the normal module? I am sorry but like I said I am very new to all of this and am trying to teach myself as much as possible. If I am reading this right. I am suposed to put a duration in seconds in here and somehow tell it to start counting. So I first need to find out how many seconds until this event. How do I get it to start counting?
