Hi All,

Based on the Input month (which is in date format), I'd like to get a count of sales by sales person: disregarding the day.

So, as George 8764 is listed twice, he should only be counted once, making the count for December 2018 3

Seems very simple, but I can't figure it out!

MANY THANKS!

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
George is 8765

Cant get it to work on a "working" unique formula copied from elsewhere though.

Sorry I'm not following? I've tried using Sumproduct, Countifs to no avail.

Thanks for trying

maybe try PivotTable with DataModel to count unique names

Date (Month)Dec

Count

3
