Hello everyone,

I have a series of dates from 2013 till 2018. I'd like to count the exact days for them but they aren't in sequence. Meaning a date could start from 12 march 2013, the next one from 15...etc.
<colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody>
08-Jan-13

09-Jan-13

12-Jan-13

15-Jan-13

Many thanks,
Marwan

Thanks VBA Greek. I have used the day function and counted the days in a serial then add them up. What do you think?
BTW I did your formula and gave me 2006. My formula gave me 21,498 days.

I dont think you need the DAY function. If you use MIN and MAX, they will yield the oldest and the newest date respectively and then you just need to subtract them as far I can see

But I'm looking for exact days. As I mentioned the dates aren't sequentially stated. You'd find 13 Jan 2013 the next day will be 17 Jan 2013....till 2018.

hmm, ok, I must have misunderstood. So you just want to count how many dates you have? You may need to use the COUNT function?

The count function will only count the number of text within a cell regardless of dates or else. However, the DAY function counts actual days in a date. Thanks so much Greek and I'd like you to confirm my work please.

Many thanks,
Marwan
