Hello, I'm using the below sumifs formula in my data which's working perfectly, but the same way when I use the countifs it gives me an error and tells me "too few arguments" can you assist me please,

SUMIFS(Sheet2!C:C;Sheet2!B:B;">="&C3;Sheet2!B:B;"<="&Sheet1!C4;Sheet2!A:A;Sheet1!D2)

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Hello - on the COUNTIFS formula, it's criteria range, followed by criteria 1 indicated by a comma and then repeated, criteria 2 etc. Eg say you had a list of info;

Date. Amount
01/07/24. 100
08/07/24. 200
15/07/24. 300
22/07/24. 350
29/07/24. 425

Let's say you wanted to count the entries between the following and a condition over sales of 200

Start Date 01/07/24
End Date 29/07/24
Sales. >200

=COUNTIFS(Date Range, ">="&Start Date, Date Range, "<="&End Date, Sales Range, ">200"). This would give 3 in this example.

Hope this helps

Solution
Hello, just to mention that if you wanted to hard code the cell so in the above example you just want to reference whatever number you put in, in the above being say 200, after sales range, just enter, ">"&Cell With Number In and this produces the same result.

How about
Excel Formula:
=countifs(Sheet2!B:B;">="&C3;Sheet2!B:B;"<="&Sheet1!C4;Sheet2!A:A;Sheet1!D2)
