I have a small data that of matches played between two teams.
The data looks similar to this.

Matches
data1
data2
data3

Yellow Oak vs Blue Stone

Yellow Oak vs Green Grass Oak

Blue Stone vs Green Grass Oak

Teams
Match Played

Yellow Oak

Blue Stone

Green Grass Oak

Here I want to count how many times a team have played the match. Data1, data2 and data3 are criteria. If I enter at least one of those (data1, data2, data3) the criteria is met. And, we can consider that the team involved have played 1 match each.
For example, if any number value is entered in data1 along Yellow Oak vs Blue Stone, match played for the teams Yellow Oak and Blue Stone should be 1 each.
If i fill all rows of data1 (or data2 or data3) column, the match played by each team will be 3.
Number of teams can vary.
I am able to do this with COUNTIFS using wildcard character, but that works only until no word is repeated in team names.
Any help be appreciated.
