Hello,

I am trying to use COUNTIFS and INDIRECT but my formula is not working.

I have different sheets, and each sheet represents a store location. In each sheet, there is a Sales Person name and the sales amount generated for each store item (e.g., shoes, tops, dresses). In my summary sheet, I want to calculate the sales generated for a particular store and the items.

I hope this makes sense.

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Using XL2BB to show some sample data and expect results would help greatly.

What is the formula that doesn't work?
Also please post some sample data from both sheets

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

The work laptop does not allow me to use the XL2BB add-in. Is there another way to share an example?

Thank you for the speedy response.

You can just copy/paste a small example of your data.
