Hi!

I'm having a problem, probably a silly one but it's important for me and i can't figure it out.
In my excel sheet i'm putting a countif with the range being a whole column, the problem is that in that same colum is also located the countif formulae.
That is causing it to stop counting because the result is 0, while i know for sure it isn't 0.

I can't move the formulae to another location because it needs to be in between what it's counting.
Can anyone please help me out it's very important to what i'm trying to do.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Instead of the whole column why not just type the actual range? If it varies, you can create a dynamic named range or add an index function.

The range varies so that's not an option.
What's the best to do, dynamic named range or index function?
I'm new to excel with little to no expierence, can i do it with googling?

Does dynamic named range work with counting names instead of numbers for example?
Can i edit messages in this forum?
