Hello, hope for anyone that can help.
Basically, I have input a COUNTIF function for Column B such as =countif(B:B,B2=1). A popup will occur if there are any duplicate values. When I entered this and run, it worked as intended.
Then on a different column, I used a Vlookup to carry out another function. In this example, the column B is where I put my COUNTIF. The thread can be seen here: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel...ata-multiple-columns-rows-does-not-match.html
The true/false was able to work perfectly. However, when I try to run the countif function to check for duplicate values, it suddenly cannot run. I did not make any changes tot he countif formula.
I was thinking was it because of the linking of vlookup. Like as in user cannot use the same columns for 2 different purposes where in my case; column B to check for duplicate as well as column B to run the vlookup function?
I hope to get an advice on this. If attaching an excel sheet to make the question clearer, I would be more than happy to do so. I need help
