I have a document that I have quite a few Countifs formulas on multiple tabs and occasionally when I enter the formula and hit enter to complete the formula entry instead of returning the result it opens up a dialogue box as if I were going to open, save or link a file to the current file. I don't understand why this is happening on some but not all of the formulas. Any thoughts or ways to prevent this?

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
I think you have used a wrong sheetname.
Unfortunately this isn't the case I have double checked the naming conventions and they are an exact match. I have tried copying a formula that is working from a different cell and changing the name to match the appropriate tab and some of the time it works some of the time it doesn't, the only thing I can come up with that is a constant is anytime the naming convention is more than one word is when it becomes an issue.
