Countif multiple criteria

HI,

Need help again.

In Cell A1, I have data validation list - Jan 17, Feb 17, Mar 17 & so on
In B1, I have list of members like A, B, C, D

In Sheet2, I have raw data contains

A Jan-17
B Jan-17
A Feb-17
C Feb-17
A Feb-17
B Mar-17

What if I change month in data validation then it should display the result in front of A, B, C & D

Sheet1, column A contains the source list for data validation used on sheet2. It is in the form of "Mon YR."
Sheet1, column B contains a list of members (also used in data validation on sheet2?

Sheet2 allows you to enter a member in column A and a date from the allowed list into column B.

Am I right so far?

And you want to change all instances of one of the dates on sheet2 all at once to another date, perhaps by changing the value in the data validation list on sheet1?
