How do I count a cell if it contains less than 5 characters, or contains digits (even if mixed with letters)?

After data transfer, I have a list - some are email addresses, some usernames, some random text. I want to filter these to username which are less than 6 characters (for example) so us a helper column to count abc123 but not abc123@email.com or "Smith, John. A".

Excel Facts

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
What you write is unclear. How is abc123 less than 6 characters? When you say:

do you mean and rather than or? If it was or then abc123@email.com would be valid which you say isnt.
