sheet1 data:
column C (material #) ; column F (salesman name) ; column G (Salesman count per material) = ? ; column H (salesman name) = ?

sheet2 data:
column B (salesman name) ; column F (material #)

need:
sheet1 , column G answer

formula
=COUNTIFS('New Materials'!B:B,Materials!E7,'New Materials'!F:F,C7)

that gives me the count of salesman name per material #

1) can you advise if above logic makes sense?

2) need sheet 1, column H answer

what formula can I use so it then list the salesman name in column G in sheet1 ; if multiple salesman under one material #, can formula use " ; " and keeping adding i.e. "Doe, John ; Sally ; Frank etc"

can someone hellp? thx

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
