Count records on a report

I need to give a count of the records in the detail section of my report.
I have created a text box and assigned a recordcount =1 to the properties of the control source. This gives me the count of all of the items.

My problem is that I dont want to start with the very first record in the detail (my first detail record is a total). I want it to start counting with detail record #2. Is this possible?

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
A possible workaround is to use another textbox to subtract one from the running count (and hide the running count). You can then use code in the On Format event to make the text white if the value of this field is 0.
