Count Problem

I have a field I want to count and can do this easily with a simple query, I want to count the total records that apply.

So I have an extra column that goes:
1
1
1
1
1
1
1
etc

in datasheet view.

I'd like to know if it's possible to put the TOTAL in that column or a seperate column somehow, so that if there are 700 records, it will read like this in datasheet view:
700
700
700
700
700
etc

It's for a specific purpose that I need to do this.

Thanks,

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
