Count of new customers

Hi, I'm trying to figure out each month what new customers we have.

I have a table called tblCustomer what has a date created.

I have a table sale with sales dates.

I would like to create a measure that will let me know the sales for the period I've selected, how many are new customers.

IE I have my Slicer select sales from April 1-30 I would like to know how many of those customers were created during that period.
