Hello! I am looking to complete a formula that will look for a specific text between columns and rows but only count them if they are between 2 dates. For example, if the text apple is listen between E:N between dates 3/21-3/31 in sheet 1 then deliver a count value in A1 sheet 2. I have tried many countifs and can not get the exact value on the spreadsheet.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
can you post an example of what your data looks like and the expected answer? and what are you counting? The number of "apples" or the number of dates between?
