Hello!

I am trying to calculate how many times a cell changes to "Checked Out" and only when it changes to checked out. I frequently change the cell stratus from "Checked Out" to "On Shelf' and I cannot seem to find a formula where it will only count the times it was changed to "Checked Out."

I would ultimately like to count how many times this change occurs for a whole column, with a different counter for each cell in that column.

Is there anyone that can help me with this?

Thanks so much!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
For this sort of thing, you would need to use VBA. Would that be a workable solution?

Hi! Oh that makes sense. It would be a workable solution. Do you know how I could go about creating a VBA for this problem? Thank you so much!
