I have the following data, every column B,C is a different Team.

"0" means the team found no defect
"1" means the team found borderline defect
"3" mean the team found defective product

********* Sorry but that is how we record data **************

2/1 2/1 2/1 2/2 2/2 2/2
Team A Team D Team C Team A Team D Team C
Column A Column B Column C Column D Column E Column F Column G
Wrinkles 0 3 0 3 3 1
Contamination 1 1 1 1 0 0
Holes 3 0 1 3 3 0
Wrap 0 1 3 3 1 0

I want to know how many Contamination issues are happening on A team............ The answer is

How many times did "A" team have a defect - Total # defects...........Answer is ( 1 time on 2/1 & 3 times on 2/2)
How many times did "A" team have a defect related to Holes........ Answer is 3)
How many times did "A" team have a defect related to Wrap...... Answer is 2

How many defects related to "Wrinkles" in total .... Answer is 3 (once on 2/1 D shift, once on 2/2 A shift, Once on D shift 2/2)

Thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Is a rating of 1 considered a defect?

How can A team have 3 occurances of defects related to holes when there are only 2 records of A and Holes?
How can A team have 2 occurances of defect related to wraps when one day is 0?

And frankly, your data presentation to us is extremely difficult to ensure we are examining it correctly.
Please post your data as a table or use the xl2bb add (link below) - which is prefered.

If you must post as a table then highlight your data in your excel workbook on your desktop and just paste into the message thread here, it should automatically post as a table.

Thanks in advance.

meh.
I'm not going to constantly guess at what is behind your pictures.
Please post tables and the formulas youre using.

And you didn't answer why you think there are 3 defects for A with only 2 dates.

You can't attach files on this forum, you'll need to upload the file to a file sharing site and post the shared link back here.
I use box.com with no issues, it's free for individual use.
