Count even or odd numbers between two values

there are the formula for counting between two values
=SUMPRODUCT(--(B2:AX2<12),--(B2:AX2>=2))

I need to count even or odd numbers between two values,

How about

=SUMPRODUCT(--(B2:AX2<12),--(B2:AX2>=2),--(ISEVEN(+B2:AX2)))

Unfortunately returns wrong results
I'm using Excel 2007

Sorry, I figured it out - minus even = odd

For the Odd you can just change the iseven to isodd
