Hi
Hi am really new to Excel and am just teaching myself as I go along. Looking on the forum I can see I have a long way to go!

I have four columns. One is a start date, two is today, three only populated on completion, four shows me how many weeks.

i can work out the weeks for column two - column one, inserting it into four. What I can't seem to fathom is how to add the element of column three being populated, which will stop the count, and retain the date in column four.

many thanks in advance.

just in case this helps anyone else, the formula =IF(N2="",(M2-L2)/7,(N2-L2)/7) was the answer to my problem.
