Hi

I have a range of dates in the range G7:G16 but not necessarily in all rows.

I would like a formula to total the number of days only for Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. That is a complete total not how many for each day.

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Actually this is better in case you have blanks:

=SUMPRODUCT((WEEKDAY(G7:G16)={3,4,7})*(G7:G16<>""))
