Hi,
I'm searching for a way to count cells (in a range) witch contain values shorter than 12 characters.
I tried a matrix formula: {=COUNT(IF(LEN(A1:A100);"<12"))}, but that didn't work.
Is there anybody who can help?
Million thanks!

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Try:
Excel Formula:
=SUM(--(LEN(A1:A100)<12))
