I have a workbook that has become corrupted. Coincidentally  at the precise same moment microsoft decided to remind me to update my payment method. Anyway, I can open the workbook but it closes when I attempt to access my macros. I can (begrudgingly) rebuild my macros but is there another option?

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
If you can open the workbook and access the VBE (Alt+F11), you can export the macros as .bas files (VBE>Files>Export), then import them to a new workbook.

I tried going into VBA and it just sat there doing nothing for 10 minutes, save for the little circle thing.

No I had not tried that. I downloaded the file in which sandy666 had remarked every line in the macros. I unremarked them one by one. For whatever reason that worked with no problems.
