Correct date, wrong display in PowerBI

Hi, I need PowerBI help. I have excel file with columns DateOfSale and DateOfRelease. It has values stored as decimal number, formated as short date (dd/.mm/yyyy). In excel is displayed correctly. When I use this xlsb. file as source in PowerBI, date is wrong, 31/1/2011 is displayed, not 04/01/2015 as is correct (for example). Advice pls how to fix this? In the end I solved it by formatting date values as text in format "DD/MM/YYYY" in source file and when I uploaded it I added Transform text to date, this solved problem. I have tried to change regional setting, but with no result. Thanks for replaying Simon.
