Hi All,

What is the meaning of Core CALs in Microsoft Academic Suite ? and what can we do with CAL ?


Core CALs (Windows Server, Exchange Std, Sharepoint Std SCCM CALs)

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
CAL - Client Access Licence perhaps.

Yes it is Client Access License ...

I am offered the following under Academic License

Core CALs (Windows Server, Exchange Std, Sharepoint Std SCCM CALs) along with Windows 7.

I don't have any idea about what these core CALs stand for ? and what can i do from them?

I am interested in sharepoint but whether CAL will suit the requirement?

I am completely unaware of CAL...so please explain if you know about them.
