Hi I created a pivot table. I inserted slicers for that pivot table. I highlighted all rows and right click and click copy. Then I pasted the table on the same sheet. I changed the row and column of the second pivot table and it is working. But the slicers only work for the first pivot table. So I right click and then clicked on Report Connection but It can only see the first table not the second one.

Is that the right way to copy pivot table. The article below says I can not highlight rows and copy them, it wont work. But it did for me! Thanks you.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I just did a pivot, inserted a slicer (act on category in rows), copy the pivot (with blue title and total) and paste it next to it (ctrl+c/ctrl+v). I touch the slicer, both are filters in rowss. I change column with row of the new pivot and slicer filter its column (as the rows of initial pivot). Did not have to add a connection. If I right-click the slicer and go to connection reports, i see both pivots
