I have multiple workbooks with a few tabs in each workbook in multiple folders. The folders are heirarchal by year->month-> day-> specific folder. I want to take all the excel workbooks that have a certain column filled out to copy over that column and 3 or 4 other columns into one workbook on one sheet. This would include looking at all tabs in each workbook. I.e if redemption code column is filled out I would copy that column plus the date and a few other columns.

I've tried using chatgpt for a VBA code, but couldn't get anything to work, the get data wasn't very helpful either, unless the directions I found where not correct. When using the get data, there were to many excel files for them to list all workbooks even when I just went month to month.

I am using windows 11 and excel 365
