I want to keep formulas in a master worksheet that I can copy and paste into new worksheets when I need to use them, but I don't want to reference the master worksheet. Paste special doesn't seem to provide that option. What's the trick?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Activate the cell and then highlight the formula in the formula bar, and copy it from there, NOT the cell itself !!

Copy and paste as you would normally, let the reference paste. Then highlight the sheet and do a find replace (ctrl-h), find the reference to the old sheet and replace with nothing...

The trick is to go into the formula and copy the reference using that to paste into the find lookup..this will make sure you have right..

Hope this helps....

solution:
Open Word
In Excel sheet click show formulas
Select cells you want to copy
select Word
Paste to word - you will see your formulas
Open the workbook you want to copy formulas to
select the upper left cell of the table
paste
