Copying formula down column

In cell D2, I am able to input formula: B2/B95 (B95 is the total of column B) & get the correct calculation.
When I click on the lower right corner of cell D2, I get the same information in D3, rather than B3/B95.
I can't seem to get the formula to carry on down column D. Why is that?

Do you have the sheet showing the formula rather than showing the end result.

Use the Control Key plus the accent key on the keyboard (Symbol key below the escape key (Shows this charcter ¬ and `) this will open the sheet to display formula as text then close to normal view.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
The cell has =B2/$B$95
I've tried:

Pressing F9

And
verified cell format set to General
Hit function key F2
Hit Enter

And since have Excel 2007, made sure calculation is set to automatic by going to: Formulas tab>Calculation>Calculation Options>Automatic

Cell still shows =B2/$B$95 not the calculation of the two cells, even after I have pressed enter to get out of the cell.
Any other suggestions?

Read my thread I am suggesting if you have everything in your sheet displayed as text and if so use the toggle switch to see if it reverts to the normal view.

You don't need to send through what you have already tried.
