Copying Excel sheets in to Word

I have created a set of "dashboard" charts on an Excel sheet that I need to copy into Word to create an A4 report to send to various managers via email. The only way I have succeeded is to use edit copy and edit paste special and choose bitmap.All other ways seem to copy only part of the sheet. Even then this is very hit and miss - more often than not the paste does not work at all.
Any suggestions?
