Copying and Pasting Format Issue in Gmail

[FONT=&quot]I never had this happen before, can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
I have a excel sheet that looks like this...(note the blank columns)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]But when I paste into an email, it looks like this...(note the spaces are no longer separated)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Any idea's? I feel like this is something really stupid and I feel bad even wasting anyones time. Note that when I paste into a different program other than gmail, (like word) it works no problem. I cant figure out why its happening now, its never been a problem in gmail for me before.
