Hi, I want to find duplicates from Ref A in ref B column. If a duplicate is found in B6 for example (the first one) I want to write in E2 the value from D6, in E3 the value from D5,in E4 the value from D3, E5 should be empty because the are no duplicates...
Can any of you wise savants help me out?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
First, when posting sample data, please either simply copy/paste or use the xl2BB add-in. Otherwise we won't be able to copy and paste the data from an image into a sample workbook so that we can come up with a solution and test it. Also, it always helps to provide the actual expected results (in your example the results for Column E), in addition to your written explanation. It makes things a lot clearer, and it's quicker to understand.

Now, as far a solution, try the following...

edude.xlsm
ABCDE
1Ref ARef BValues Ref BValues Ref A
21184525
3236634
4364566
54234
65125
7668645
87823
985716623
1099444444
1110106868
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
E2:E11E2=IFERROR(INDEX($D$2:$D$11,MATCH(A2,$B$2:$B$11,0)),"")

Hope this helps!
