I know that the usual way to copy-paste text only is to Copy and the to Paste-Special-Text only, but this does not work in my case.
At least in Excel 2010 (and I'm sure it is the same in all of them), when you try to do that and the destination cell is a Merged cell, you receive an error telling you that the operation requires merged cells to be the same size.
So, which is the way to copy text only? Or any other way to work around this inside Excel (copying to Notepad is a big detour).
