Copy Text and Paste Edited Version for VLookup

I have 2 tables that I use to do VLookup's. One table uses a truncated version of the item name. Is there an easy way to have excel copy the full name and then paste an edited (truncated) version so my 2 tables match?

In other words, how do I copy just the last 5 characters of an items name and paste it in a different column?
