Hello,

I need to copy rows with different letters to separated sheets in a new excel file.
Example

a
45
46
c

r
44
12
d

v
55
33
e

v
44
22
c

g
22
11
f

f
44
33
d

g
88
77
e

all rows ending with c need to be placed in a new workbook on a sheet rows ending with d or any letter need to be placed on a different sheet only having that letter.

How can I do that

Rgds,

John

I'd say sort column D and manually copy/paste, but I'm assuming you'll need to do this more than once, right? How familiar are you with VBA?

Besides "c" each other letter has it's own sheet, right? For example, rows with an "a" need to go to a sheet named "a"; rows with a "b" need to go to a sheet named "b". Do these sheets already exist? Is "c" the only value in column D that doesn't follow this convention?
