I created a macro-enabled workbook that runs on both Windows & Mac. I've discovered a problem that only occurs on the Mac, and it only occurs once the file has been SAVED in Excel for Mac. I am no longer able to copy cells from my workbook and paste them into another workbook. I get the error "This action won't work on multiple selections." It even says that if I'm trying to copy a single cell.

I made a video to show what is going on. It's only 2 minutes long, so if anyone has Excel for Mac and thinks they might be able to help, please give it a watch.

I have macOS 11.6 and Excel for Mac v16.53.
