copy paste multiple comments?

Hi all I have a number of spreadsheets that have comments in many of the cells within them.
Is there a way to copy from each spreadsheet all the comments into a spreadsheet (for totals)
The problem I have is that to do this it deletes the ones already copy/pasted.
There are far too many to copy paste individually...
Any advice very welcome
