Copy/Paste Issues

I can not seem to be able to copy & insert/past.

I also can not seem to copy a set of rows with formatting & formulas, then when I paste to a another row, it drops the formats & formulas. When I attempt the paste special, it only gives me the option to paste text.

The only option I know of now is to remove & reinstall MS-Excel. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Does it seem to incur this behavior regardless of what you are copying/pasting?

Does a new workbook display 'normal' behavior?

Do you have a MS Update pending to complete? [I recently had strange behavior with cut/paste while a update was pending. Allowing the update to complete corrected the problem.]

Try a reboot of the machine.

I guess you use two instances of Excel. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc. Go to processes and find sort file names column. If you see more than one EXCEL.EXE then copy/pasting won't work as usual.
