I use MS-Excel 2010. Recently the copy/past option seems to have changed on my laptop. After I press Ctl-C to copy, I press Ctl-V to paste ... the issue is that it seems to just be pasting values ... not formulas or formats. I have no idea what might have changed.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
I was explaining the problems I was having with my daughter last night. While the spreadsheets worked fine on her laptop, it seemed no matter what changes we attempted obtained the same results. Which was that my copy of MS-Excel 2010 would only allow me to paste text ... in other words it was dropping all formatting & formulas.

Then this I was explaining the same issues to some co-workers ... strangely enough all spreadsheets are working correctly.

Very strange??? Could there have been a MS snafu downloaded a few days ago & now the correction to the snafu has been downloaded/applied.
