Hello,
So I am having an issue with formatting after copy and paste.
My process is I copy a an entire row from one workbook and paste the row onto another workbook. Where I paste it is in one tab which I call "RAW DATA". I have another tab, my "Platform", that uses cell references or VLOOKUPS to pull the necessary information from the "RAW DATA" tab and organize it accordingly such as displaying dates, part #'s, and purchase order #'s.
When I copy the row and paste it into my RAW DATA tab I can either paste it like normal or paste it to match destination formatting. If I paste with match destination formatting then I don't have any issues. The issue is when I paste like normal on the "RAW DATA" tab, the cells on the "Platform" tab doesn't format. Regardless if I change the cell format settings on the Platform.
I assume it has to do with the formulas.
The cells will only format correctly on the "Platform" tab if when pasting on the "RAW DATA" tab is done using paste and match destination format. Which is fine, but if my coworkers are going to use my spreadsheet I know they are going to paste normal and then wonder why it looks weird.
Is there a way to correct this?
