copy paste and the window pops up

Hi,

Sometimes when I copy and paste in excel the "paste options" menu comes up. Do you know what controls this?

I think I just want to turn it off. It seems to pop up randomly which isn't good because it creates confusion.

Any chance you are holding down ctrl+alt+V instead of ctrl+V or ctrl+shift+V (for paste values)

actually its not that just the "ctrl" icon that shows up.

I must be accidentally hitting the "ctrl" icon and then the window pops up

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully you have it sorted.
I can only replicate that behaviour if I hold down the Alt Key when I do the paste.
