This is embarrassing...

I have a modified ridiculously large spreadsheet that someone else built pulling data from all sorts of weird locations. i did not save a backup copy.... now the file will not open and get's stuck at the filling cells part of opening. i wonder if there is a way for me to get the two macros i wrote out of the file without opening it???

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
im guessing the macros run as soon as you open the file ?

if so go to the folder location where the file is located

SHIFT + RIGHT CLICK your excel workbook where the macros are

And select open in protected... this should open the file without running any macros
