Copy field inf from 1 to another, fields in different tables

Hi,

I want to copy some field info from one table to another, the tables are in a one to many relations to each other. (field from which to copy is 1 the other one is many)

Now within one field I just use:

M_street = V_street

I put this into an event and trigger the event with a button for example.

But In this case the V_street is in another table.

I tried: M_street = tablename.V_street


But I gives me a error.

Anyone who can help me?
