Hello,

How can I quickly copy the date of birth for a person who is in multiple rows?
I basically have more than 6000 individual records to go through.

Column A Column B
Albert Ross 29-Mar-1980
Albert Ross
Albert Ross
Ben Davies 20-Nov-1985
Ben Davies
Chloe Bart 3-July-2000
Chloe Bart
Chloe Bart

Thanks

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
If you want names and DOB you could just pivot the data, show in tabular form and filter out the blanks in column B.

Or if you need the blanks filled in then sort by name and DOB then either VLOOKUP in the blank cells or filter the blanks and say your first blank is B3 enter =B2, then copy that into the other blank cells.
