Hello All,

One of my vendors that sell Tree's & Plants sent me a price list which is about 10,000 lines long. I use this for quoting. What I would like to do is have a QTY column. I search for the item and enter in a number in the QTY, then I would like to copy this entire line to Sheet B. This way once I am done going through entering all the QTY's Sheet B will have a list of all the plants I need.

Any help would be appreciated, I have been trying to figure this out for days

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
We need specific details:

In what column will you be searching.
And in what column do you want to enter the quanity.
And how do you plan to enter the value you want to search for?

If you have 10,000 items in column A

We could have a Inputbox popup you enter the value you want to find
The script searches for the item
If the item is found another Inputbox pops up and you enter the quanity then this quanity would be enter into the proper column and this row of data is copied to another sheet Lets say sheet named "My Order"

But how would you know exactly what your searching for.
If your looking for Pine Trees do you know exactly how that has been entered.

Or do you need a Combobox with all the values in column A and then select the item from the combobox.
Knowing exactly how each item may have been entered in the list you get would be difficult I would think.
But if we loaded all these items into a combobox then you would see the item and just choose the item you want.
